MacroTrack
This Privacy Policy explains how MacroTrack, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MacroTrack mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

When you sign in with Apple, we receive the relay email address Apple provides and, if you choose to share it, your name. We never see your actual Apple ID or password.
MacroTrack stores the data you log, including:
This data is stored on your device and, if you enable cloud backup, synced to our cloud infrastructure (see "Where Data Is Stored" below).
We collect anonymised product-usage events (for example: onboarding steps completed, paywall views, subscription purchases, theme changes, backup actions) to understand how the App is used and improve it. We use PostHog for analytics. No personally identifiable information beyond the events listed is sent to PostHog.
We receive subscription and purchase status from Apple App Store and Google Play via RevenueCat. This includes whether you have an active subscription or lifetime purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details.
When you search for foods, your search query is sent through our Cloudflare Worker proxy to one or more food databases (USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts, Nutritionix, FatSecret). Only the search text leaves your device; your account or health data is not attached to these requests.
The App may request access to your device camera (for barcode scanning) and photo library (for progress photos). We only access these when you actively use the relevant feature.
We use the following third-party services to operate MacroTrack:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share data only with the sub-processors listed above, as necessary to operate the App, or if required by law.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
To request deletion of your data by email, contact us at support@macrotrack.app. We will process your request within 30 days.
Analytics events collected before deletion may be retained in aggregate, anonymised form.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact support@macrotrack.app.
MacroTrack is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission and access controls on our cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
MacroTrack is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US or other countries where our sub-processors operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
